02 / reference

One board reference. Four buying details.

XBound’s cutting and graphic work affect different parts of the same deck specification. Compare the sample’s outline, mounting pattern and finish before pricing a batch. Record what is known and what is still open for each version.

Compare Blank and Decorated Samples

03 / sample route

Blank and decorated boards take different paths.

An unprinted blank lets the buyer inspect shape and surface without waiting for artwork. Printed or laser-decorated samples need the graphic effect checked on the board. Current sample preparation guidance is about 3–5 days for a plain blank and about 7–10 days for a printed or laser sample; shipping and final order timing are separate.

04 / quotation scope

Price what each version includes.

A useful wholesale quotation distinguishes deck construction, surface or graphic treatment, quantity per variant and the agreed packing unit. Keeping these items together lets purchasing compare like scope with like scope. Discuss the minimum quantity and price for each variant in the requested mix.

05 / repeat order

Repeat the reference—or review the change.

A previous approved sample and specification help only while the new order’s outline, hole pattern, surface and packing still match. XBound can identify changed details for another sample or price review before the order is treated as a repeat. Purchasing then knows which version is being discussed.

06 / physical sample

Inspect the version behind the quote.

A board sample can settle outline, mounting points and finish that a purchase sheet leaves ambiguous. The reviewed version should match the surface being ordered, whether blank or decorated. These windows cover sample preparation; transport and approval are separate.

07 / packing unit

Packing belongs in the wholesale line.

Discuss the protection, grouping and labelling needed for your packing unit. Compare the actual pack with the quotation for the agreed order unit; shipping terms are discussed separately.
