02 // ARTWORK & PLACEMENT[ XBOUND / BUILD TO A BRIEF ]

Set the artwork against the deck outline.

Supply the intended graphic area, bleed and mounting-hole clearance. Mark edges, cropping and colour priorities so the sample answers the same questions as the artwork file.

01 /

Dieline & bleed

Keep the chosen outline and trim allowance in the artwork reference.

02 /

Holes & alignment

Show clearance around mounting holes and the intended direction of the graphic.

03 /

File & confidentiality

Identify the permitted artwork version; arrange NDA terms for the project handover.

Review coverage, colour and finish as separate decisions. A studio reference can show an appearance direction; the project sample establishes the agreed result.

04 // PHYSICAL SIGN-OFF & PACKING[ XBOUND / BUILD TO A BRIEF ]

Keep revisions with the artwork version.

Record the board reference, artwork file and requested change together. Printed or laser-decorated samples normally take about 7–10 days; confirm the actual scope and timing, with transit additional. Review surface protection separately from printed packaging.

01 /

Physical sign-off

Approve shape, placement, finish and the remaining open points on the actual sample.

02 /

Confidential handover

Keep permitted files, revisions and agreed NDA requirements with the project.

03 /

Independent packaging

Specify board protection, retail packaging artwork and carton quantities separately.
